World Heritage Rainforest Tours
Daintree River Rainforest Cruises: We are able to offer a number of operations that offer river trips on the Daintree from various points between the ferry and Daintree village. You have the opportunity to view many birds in their natural environment and through the cooler months between April to September you have a greater chance of the many crocodiles as they sun themselves on the exposed banks.
Skyrail - Kuranda: Located 15 minutes from Cairns City and 40 minutes from Port Douglas. The Cableway rises 550 metres above sea level and provides spectacular views with the Gondola cabins gliding just metres above World Heritage listed rainforest and reveals the sights and sounds of the canopy. Combine your Skyrail experience with the famous Kuranda Scenic Train that winds through the rainforest passing through many tunnels and waterfalls. Upon arriving to Kuranda, which is famed for its markets, there is plenty to keep you busy, Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and Kuranda Wildlife Noctarium where you can see nocturnal rainforest animals.
World Heritage Daintree & Cape Tribulation: From Daintree to Cape Tribulation and Bloomfield River, you can experience the most unique rainforest in the world. The only cable ferry in tropical Australia, the Daintree Ferry, provides the southern access into the lowland Daintree Rainforest. This is your first taste of the unique natural and very ancient region. You are entering a rainforest that has been in existence for more than 120 million years and contains some plant and animal species not seen anywhere else in the world.
