Day One
P/U from Cairns airport and transfer to Mai Tai Resort. Rest of Day free time to settle in and relax or do your own thing.

Day Two (B) RC Safaris - Kuranda Markets
P/U time 09.00am. Travel along the Cook Highway towards Cairns for the Skyrail Cableway. Truly amazing journey as you glide above the rainforest canopy, enjoy rainforest walks and superb views as you travel to Kuranda. Once in Kuranda you have 2 hours free time for shopping and the colourful Kuranda Markets. Enjoy lunch at one of the many fine restaurants available in Kuranda. Visit Birdworld , which boast’s over 70 species of Australian and Exotic birds plus the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, the largest butterfly farm with a display of the most vivid and unusual butterflies from all around the world. Depart Kuranda on the Historic Scenic Train enjoying the views of the Barron Gorge and Falls, Stoney Creek Falls and its famous curved bridge and 15 tunnels. Arrive back in Port Douglas at approximately 5.45pm

Day Three (BL) Synergy Reef Cruise
Enjoy the world renowned luxuriously appointed, 62 foot sailing catamaran, Synergy 2. Nudged casually along by tropical breezes in the warm, balmy, aquamarine waters encompassing Australia's Great Barrier Reef, Synergy 2 is the personification of complete relaxation. P/U time is at 8.15am and transfer to Marina Mirage. Coffee, Tea & fresh pastries available on your arrival & during the safety briefing. After snorkelling relax with a beverage while enjoying a gourmet cusine freshly prepared and cooked on board. Afternoon tea and fruits are served as you sail the romantic seas back to Port Douglas arriving approximately 4.30pm for your transfer back to Mai Tai Resort.

Day Four (L) RC Safaris - Fly / Drive Cooktown
P/U time 5 am - Flight to Cooktown departs Cairns at 6.30am. The ultimate safari, featuring the best Far North Queensland has to offer, all in one day. Begin you day with an early morning flight over the Great Barrier Reef en-route to Australia's best-kept secret, the Endeavour River where in 1770 Captain Cook brought the damaged ship, H.M. Bark Endeavour, for repairs. Since Cook's historic visit, a great many others have also succummbed to the charm and tranquility of Cooktown's unique surroundings. Pass the mystical Black Mountains, sacred to the aboriginal people, on the way to a chat and a cold beer at one of the last authentic Aussie outback pubs, the famous "Lions Den Hotel". Travel 80km south along the 4WD Bloomfield Track, stopping at the spectacular Bloomfield Falls and an isolated tropical beach. The driving conditions range from extreme to easy, depending on the season, with the track continuing through rugged terrain, drastic gradients and ancient rainforests to Cape Tribulation. Take a refreshing swim (seasonal) or stroll along rainforest-fringed beaches before returning to Mai Tai Resort. (Tour Duration approx. 12 Hours).

Day Five (B)
Goodbye from Mai Tai Resort (unless you wish to extend your stay). Habitat Breakfast with the Birds from 8am. Transfer from Habitat back to Cairns Airport for your flight home.

NB: This package must be booked directly with Mai Tai Resort due to tour components and discounted accommodation rates.

Cancellations must be received in writing / fax or email. Any cancellations recieved 30 days prior to arrival will incur an administration fee of AUD$300 per person. Cancellations recieved 7 days prior to arrival - nil refund available. Please make sure you are cover by travel insurance.

Please note to book above package we require a 50% deposit at time of booking and balance to be paid no less than 14 days prior to arrival.
