Holiday Accommodation Bookings Terms & Conditions
Tariffs: These rates are subject to change without notice. Unique differences in some properties or apartments in some resorts may have higher tariffs than those shown on the Tariff sheet. The season, length of stay and number in party may also affect the price.
Bookings & Deposits: To secure your booking Accommodation Port Douglas requires a deposit of 20% of the total accommodation cost within 7 days, except for bookings commencing within two weeks. That money is due by credit card immediately. The balance outstanding is payable 7 days prior to arrival.
Peak Seasons: Rates vary between tourist and holiday seasons. High Season rates apply to Easter Holidays and Christmas School Holidays. Some properties may have all year round rates, others have season rates.
- Low Season 1st November to 31st May (Christmas & New Year High)
- High Season 1st June to 31st October (Easter period High)
Check-in Times: Check-in time is 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Arrangements for key collection must be made prior to arrival.
Keys: Keys can be collected during business hours at our Ray White Port Douglas offices located at 366 Port Douglas Rd Four Mile or 48 Macrossan St Port Douglas. Arrival outside business hours should be arranged in advance. We have facilities for 24-hour key collection by prior arrangement.
Cancellation Fees: Cancellation must be in writing and can either be via email: info@accomportdouglas.com.au facsimile to +61 (0)7 4099 5978 or by letter to PO Box 564 Port Douglas QLD 4877 Australia. Please quote your booking number, surname and dates of arrival and departure.
Bookings cancelled 60 days or more prior to arrival: a $100.00 administration fee will be deducted from your refund.
Bookings cancelled 30-59 days prior to arrival: a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking value will be deducted from your refund unless we are able to re-book the property.
Bookings cancelled less then 30 days prior to arrival: a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking value will be retained unless we are able to re-book the property for the full duration of your origonal stay.
Property Damage: Any damage to the property or chattels caused by guests will be charged to the guest making the booking. A security deposit or credit card imprint will be required for all holiday accommodation on arrival. Should you find the property damaged prior to your stay, please advice our office immediately on 4099 5355 or 4098 5222. Failure to do so will deem you to be totally responsible for the condition of the property on departure.
Travel Insurance: Accom Port Douglas strongly recommends travel insurance as it may protect you if you cancel your holiday due to unforeseen circumstances.
