Daintree And Cape Tribulation Holiday Accommodation
Daintree, sitting on a bend of the Daintree River, just north of Mossman, oozes charm and character. Once a thriving timber town on
the edge of the forest, it has now become a must- see destination, with artisans and restaurants (some serving fresh barramundi,
straight from the river).
The whole area is abundant with wildlife. As well as birds, there are the infamous estuarine crocodiles that cruise the river.
You will want to explore the Timber museum; join one of the primeval walks through the rainforest; or for the more adventurous, why not take a guided tour across the river to Cape Tribulation on the only cable ferry in tropical Australia.

Cape Tribulation
For 130 million years, the earth has worked laboriously to create a masterpiece. Her palette, streaked with marvelous greens, refreshing blues and comforting shades of brown, her canvas the fragile environment north of the Daintree River.
Earth's magnificent work of art is now on display to the public, and while we are invited to sample her craft through tours, cruises and bush walks, it is also our duty to afford it the level of care we would for the Mona Lisa or Michelangelo's David
Respect our rainforests - leave only footprints and take only photos.
