Destination Manager
With
20 years experience in the Tourism and Travel industry, Wayne
Joughin has the background needed to help you make the right choices
for your visit to Tropical North Queensland. Before moving to
join the new Radisson team in 1994 as Conference and Incentive
manager, Wayne had held senior positions in hotels and resorts
both in the domestic and overseas market. Having been instrumental
in putting Port Douglas on the map as a tourist destination, Wayne
has made this beautiful part of Australia his permanent home.
An extensive knowledge of what the region has to offer is a great
asset when customising holidays to meet individual needs and requirements;
we invite you to take advantage of Wayne's enthusiasm for Port
Douglas. Gone are the days when travellers just want to sit on
the beach and are prepared to accept what is said in a glossy
brochure as gospel. Today's' customers demand an honest and straightforward
approach, which comes as second nature to Wayne.

"I am delighted to welcome visitors from all parts of the
globe to our 'piece of paradise'! Since we are situated at the
destination, my staff and I can create an itinerary for even the
most discerning traveller. A private dining experience in your
beachfront home with your own gourmet chef, a delicious picnic
on a coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef or a personalised 4WD
tour through the Daintree Rainforest, we are capable of making
it all happen. My aim is to provide a professional service that
is customer driven."

The Office
Centrally
located in the main street of Port Douglas, though easily accessible
by road and on foot, the open and easily identified office is
manned from Monday through to Saturday. However, we can be available
on Sundays by prior arrangement. Great emphasis has been placed
on the latest information technology and training.
